Dunya is all around in Rabat. Our house mama, Dunia, cares for guests as family with pleasant sharing of time, laughter, food and care for well being. Today, I sought lunch time peace and found hospitality. After a bit of reading, rest was in order and all the benches were taken. First attempting a rest on the grass, I tried a shady tree to sit under. A gentleman nearby pointed to a sunnier spot on the sidewalk (now I know the Moroccan way). Before even hitting the bricks 3 women in traditional dress pointed me to the cardboards used by others praying or napping. Then one of the women led me to a small hut to retrieve a cardboard. Spread the mat, sleep now, find peace in the community. Rabat Dunya.
