While walking through Rabat, cats are everywhere-underneath cars, right outside your window, and perched on ancient Roman ruins. While these cats and kittens are adorable, one has to ask: Why are there so many? What are they eating? Were they parachuted into Rabat to fight the plague? Has Morocco beaten the bubonic plague yet?
In all seriousness, the overabundance of cats is primarily due to Morocco’s apparent inability to properly deal with garbage disposal.
